Before the City of Arlington 's spectacular fireworks show in Downtown, the Wings are prepared to light up the court at UTA 's College Park Center on Tuesday, July 3.

Wings fans traveling to College Park Center for Tuesday 's 7 p.m. game against the Chicago Sky are encouraged to plan their route ahead of time, especially if arriving to the stadium from the north (see map below.) The City will be closing some streets near the UTA campus on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for the popular Light Up Arlington, which draws tens of thousands Downtown for live music, great food and lots of fun-filled children 's activities.

Light Up Arlington festivities start at 6 p.m. and close with a bang at 9:45 p.m. After the game, Wings fans are encouraged to stay Downtown and enjoy the 20-minute fireworks display, set to music from 95.9 The Ranch. The fireworks will be launched from the Municipal Office Tower at 101 Mesquite Street east of City Hall and the new George W. Hawkes Downtown Library.

These intersections will be closed for Light Up Arlington festivities starting at 2 p.m. on July 3:

  • Division and Center Street
  • Division Street and Mesquite Street
  • UTA Boulevard and Mesquite Street
  • UTA Boulevard and Center Street
  • Abram Street and Cooper Street
  • Abram Street and Collins Street

If traveling from Interstate 30/North Arlington, Wings fans can reach College Park Center by going south on Cooper Street and turning left on UTA Boulevard or they can go south on Collins Street and turn right onto Border Street.
