North Arlington

A water main break Thursday morning has caused lane closures at the Collins Street and NE Green Oaks Boulevard intersection in north Arlington.

The break happened as Water Utilities crews were performing necessary maintenance on a 16-inch valve under the street. Repairs are expected to cause lane closures near the intersection. Two eastbound lanes of NE Green Oaks Boulevard that are currently closed are expected to reopen Friday, Feb. 2. The right turn lane onto Collins Street is expected to be closed for at least a week. Drivers are currently not able to make a right turn onto southbound Collins Street but should be able to by Friday. Please follow traffic signs for lane shifts and detours.

The main break will result in water service interruptions for customers in the immediate area. Updates will be available on the Arlington Water Utilities Active Water Outages webpage.
