1. Arlington Music Festival at Arlington Music Hall - Feb. 8-10

The Arlington Music Hall, along with Jim Austin Online, will host the 2nd Annual Arlington Music Festival on February 8, 9 and 10, 2018 in Downtown Arlington. This year's event features three jam-packed evenings of the best blues, jazz and R&B in the country. Don't miss the premiere music event of the year when the 2nd Annual Arlington Music Festival comes to the Arlington Music Hall, located at 224 N. Center Street in Arlington's Cultural District. Motorsport fans and adrenaline junkies can rejoice this weekend, as Monster Jam arrives at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 7 p.m. Monster Jam is a live motorsport event tour and television show featuring freestyle competitions by monster trucks. 3. Live Music at Grease Monkey Burger Shop & Social Club

On Friday night, the Tristan Inman Band will take the stage at 9 p.m. On Saturday night, residents and visitors can check out Idol Job, Roots Rock Reggae band from Arlington. 4. Timeless Concerts' Valentines Special and Fundraiser

Head over to the Arlington Museum of Art in Downtown this Saturday, February 10 at 8 p.m. for an hour long concert of beautiful, exciting and romantic music from around the world, humor and previews of upcoming concerts. Performers include the Chenoweth-Hood-Kang Trio (violin/piano/cello) plus sopranos Colleen Hughes Mallette and Judith Rodriguez, with tenors Don O'Neal LeBlanc and Sergio Cepeda. 5. Steve Moya & Christie Neale at Arlington Museum of Art

Check out the work by local artists Steve Moya and Christie Neale now through February 25 at Arlington Music Hall in Downtown. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Neale was trained in oil painting, which was her medium of choice for 20 years. She then began experimenting with resin after she was inspired by the courage of wounded veterans. For Steve Moya, painting iconic rockers and capturing the feel of them performing has been the focus of his work over the past 10 years. 6. Live Music at Legal Draft Beer Co.

Join Legal Draft Beer Co. this weekend for two days live music and local craft beers. On Friday, February 9, The Bryan Lucas Band will perform from 6-8 p.m. The group is a DFW Cover band playing hit music from every decade. 7. UT Arlington Wind Symphony Concert

Join the UTA Wind Symphony this Friday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. in Irons Hall (located in the South Section of the Fine Arts Building) for the first Wind Symphony concert of 2018. Featured on the program will be a tribute to the late composer David Maslanka. Director of Bands Emeritus Ray Lichtenwalter will conduct Maslanka's “In Memoriam” which was commissioned and premiered by the UTA Bands and Band Alumni almost 30 years ago. Also on this “Memorials” program are works by Frank Ticheli, Mark Camphouse and Leonard Bernstein. Admission is $9 for Adults and $6 for students/Seniors. 8. Kyoto Lo-Fi x Melon Soda & Round Robin 3 at Truth Vinyl

Residents and visitors are invited to check out Kyoto Lo-Fi x Melon Soda at Truth Vinyl this Friday, February 9 in Downtown Arlington at 8 p.m. On Saturday, February 10, Round Robin 3 features the continuation of Truth Vinyl's songwriters showcase hosted by Joseph Fisher and Court Hoang. 9. Bikes & Coffee at Urban Alchemy

Urban Alchemy Coffee + Wine Bar will be hosting Third Shift Moto's Saturday Mornings Bikes & Coffee from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday, February 10. The vintage motorcycle shop specializes in vintage Japanese Motorcycles. The shop also provides service options for maintenance, troubleshooting, restorations and custom builds. Urban Alchemy held its soft open in Downtown Arlington on February 2, 2018. The coffee and wine bar is located at 403 E Main St, Arlington, TX 76010.

10. Live Music at J.R. Bentley's

Ben Martinec is set to perform from 8-11 p.m. this Friday, February 9, 2018 at J.R. Bentley's in Downtown Arlington. On Saturday, February 10, Brendyn Kyle takes the stage at 8 p.m. Situated in a historic home, J.R. 11. UTA Basketball Doubleheader at College Park Center

It's a UT Arlington men's and women's basketball doubleheader this Saturday, January 10, 2018 at College Park Center in Downtown! The Lady Mavs get the action started first at 2 p.m. and tip-off for the men's basketball game is at 4:15 p.m. CT. Both teams will face off against Texas State as they battle for position in the Sun Belt Conference. Tickets are still available at UTAtickets.com. 12. UTA Battle of the Bands

Come out to the Bluebonnet Boom in the University Center on the UT Arlington campus to see a great competition between several talented bands from the area. UTA Planetarium continues to offer shows to residents and visitors. This includes Stars of the Pharaohs, a planetarium show that visitors on a journey to ancient Egypt to see how science was used to tell time, make a workable calendar, and align huge buildings.
