The Texas Rangers and the City of Arlington are celebrating another construction milestone for the $1.2 billion Globe Life Field.

The final concrete has been poured on the main concourse of the Rangers' new climate-controlled ballpark, which is scheduled to open in March 2020. The final pour was located on the northeast portion of the main concourse, what will be the outfield concourse of Globe Life Field.

  • In all, 1,480 cubic yards of concrete were used for the final pour.
  • A total of 115,000 cubic yards of concrete have been used on site to this point.
  • Total concrete work for the entire project is estimated at 85 percent complete.
