In 2019, Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington is introducing a brand new looping coaster. Lone Star Revolution will be the largest ride of its kind in the world, featuring a giant loop that stands 100 feet tall.
On this new adventure, passengers sit in unique “face-off” seats, sitting back-to-back and face-to-face with other riders. They’ll sway pendulum-style forward and backward up each side of the record-breaking ring until reaching full speed. When the coaster gains enough momentum, passengers will experience a series of 360-degree revolutions that suspend them completely upside down 10 stories in the air with incredible hang-time and weightlessness. At any unexpected moment, the coaster will change directions and send passengers back around the loop in reverse.
Lone Star Revolution will debut in the Tower section in late spring 2019.
