In this Neighborhood Network News edition, you can learn more about Arlington's competitive water rates and how to keep your summer water bill in check, see what projects and programs are planned in the City's proposed $500 million operating budget and get an update on the transformative Abram Street Rebuild under way in Downtown.

Summer Water Use: Concerned about your water bill? City Manager Trey Yelverton recently talked with City Council about the higher-than-usual water use happening across Arlington this summer, which you can see in an educational video presentation here and here's a link to a new video that shows you how you can read your water meter. Arlington Water's customer service representatives at 817-275-5931 are available to answer questions about water use and billing, and Arlington Water's website and social media pages offer tips and information all year long to help customers be water wise. 2019 Budget: Arlington's proposed $500 million Fiscal Year 2019 operating budget includes a property tax rate reduction for the third year in a row. You can learn more about budget, which includes significant investments in public safety and technology, an expansion of the Via rideshare pilot program, grant funding to incentivize both home renovations and neighborhood improvements, and planned upgrades to multiple Arlington parks, at town hall meetings.
