With an estimated quarter million football fans coming to Arlington for NFL Draft festivities this weekend, drivers may want to keep a few tips in mind whether they are headed to AT&T Stadium or just trying to get around the Entertainment District.

Only one street closure - AT&T Way between Randol Mill Road and Cowboys Way on the east side of the stadium - is planned during the NFL Draft, which will run Thursday, April 26 through Saturday, April 28. The City will also implement contraflow lanes on portions of Division Street, Collins Street and AT&T Way to help with traffic flow before and after events on Thursday and Friday.

Looking for the fastest route to get to the fun? The City is updating Waze with NFL Draft public parking lot and traffic information to give drivers the best experience possible getting to and from the stadium. Drivers can download Waze for free at www.waze.com/get for iOS and Android and see real-time traffic, find optimal routes, avoid road closures and more.

When parking for NFL Draft activities, be sure to leave your vehicle in a place that is well-lit and won't place you at the risk of being ticketed or towed. The Dallas Sports Commission has published an online map showing the many public parking lots around AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park where fans can park for free. The City of Arlington encourages fans to park in these designated lots and not in residential neighborhoods surrounding the stadiums.
