Construction Briefing Meeting Set April 16 on Residential Street Rebuild Project

The City of Arlington will soon begin work to rebuild three east Arlington roadways.

A construction briefing meeting is set for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018, to describe work planned for the 2017 Residential Street Rebuild, Phase I project. The purpose of this meeting, which will be held in the Council Briefing Room, located on the 3rd floor of City Hall, 101 W. Abram St., is to provide information and answer questions residents may have concerning the construction.

This project, which includes water and sanitary sewer renewals in addition to rebuilding the identified residential roadways as concrete streets, is scheduled to begin this May and be complete by May 2019.

The project area will focus on:

  • Inwood Drive between Collins Street and Daniel Drive
  • Southmoor Drive between Collins Street and Daniel Drive
  • The section of Rayborn Drive between Inwood Drive and Biggs Circle
