The Milo pilot program is expected to run through mid-2018.

Interested in catching a ride on a self-driving shuttle? Come try out Milo and provide the City of Arlington with feedback about your experience.

The City of Arlington is now booking rides on four upcoming dates to provide the public an opportunity to check out the Milo autonomous shuttle service.

Arlington is leasing two of these electric shuttle vehicles as part of a one-year pilot program to explore autonomous transportation technology in a real-world setting.

The rides, which are free, are available from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 2, Oct. 4, Oct. 9 and Oct. 13. Those who are interested must reserve their ride online at www.arlingtontx.gov/milo. Because seating is limited, rides are only guaranteed to those individuals who receive confirmation by email from the City. Rides can be booked for between 1 and 10 passengers.

Riders will be asked to participate in the survey about their experience.

The Milo shuttles operate approximately one hour before and one hour after major events at AT-T Stadium and Globe Life Park in Arlington's Entertainment District. The shuttles are programmed to run along select off-street trails in Richard Greene Linear Park and Robert Cluck Linear Park between the two venues and will pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops.
