Dog of the Week - Meet Kokoye

This one-year-old female retriever pointer mix is white and brown in color and weighs 55 pounds. Kokoye is calm in nature yet exhibits playful tendencies. Mildly interested in toys, she really shows more interest in activities going on around her. She knows the commands of sit and lay down. Be it known, head petting is greatly appreciated by this canine. An active family offering exercise opportunities would be on Kokoye's wish list. During our "Study Buddy Back to School Special" through September 15, all adoptable animals are $25 to adopt. Meet Kokoye in Dog Adoptions (DA) 12; his ID number is 36414168.

Cats of the Week - Meet Alvin

This four-year-old male domestic short hair is black and white in color. Alvin was an owner surrender to the shelter. He is a rather large cat with a large heart to match. He loves, loves, loves attention. It's almost impossible to ignore his head butting and purring or his interest in the video camera! Alvin would probably do best in a family with older children or all adults. Creating opportunities for mild physical activity and a change in diet would be beneficial to him as well. Meet Alvin in Cat Adoptions (CC) 1; his ID number is 21810383. Pet adoptions are only $25 through September 15!

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
