The American Dream is alive and well for Patrick Lane. He is the founder of Lane Boots, a popular custom made boot manufacturer focused on developing fashion-forward styles and offerings for women.

The headquarters for Lane Boots is located at Avenue G in Arlington, along with Mozaic and Endygo, two other businesses from Patrick Lane.

According to Lane, Mozaic manufactures outdoor patio cushions and pillows. Endygo is an online services company that helps manage the e-commerce world and e-commerce retailers.

The first pair of Lane Boots was designed and produced in 2009. Today, Lane Boots has hundreds of styles and a customer base that spans the entire United States. In late 2013, the company opened its own manufacturing facility in Arlington to keep up with the increased demand.

"I think the American Dream to me means opportunity and the freedom to accomplish whatever you want to accomplish," Lane said. "After that, a lot of it comes down to effort. If you are willing to make the effort, then your dream will come true."
