"Ask Arlington" is a show dedicated to answering the questions you have about what's happening in our city.

Each week, on the City's social media pages, we'll let you know what the topic of the "Ask Arlington" episode will be. All you have to do is post your question and we'll do our best to get it answered during our show.

This week's show features Michelle Benjamin, a Crime Prevention Specialist with the Arlington Police Department, to answer your questions about National Night Out on October 3, 2017.

National Night Out, held the first Tuesday of October in Texas, promotes crime prevention, police-community partnership and neighborhood camaraderie. Law enforcement agencies stop by the parties to offer public safety tips and ways to stay connected to their local police departments.

Last year's event saw a record 196 parties and Arlington holds the second spot in a national ranking of U.S. cities with populations over 300,000 participating in National Night Out.
