Culture Buzz: Celebrating Theatre Arlington’s 45th Anniversary in Downtown

The newest "Culture Buzz" segment on MyArlingtonTV takes a journey to Theatre Arlington in Downtown, which is celebrating 45 years of live theater in The American Dream City.

Theatre Arlington, which is one of the largest community theatres in the country, will open its anniversary season on September 22, 2017 with Bus Stop, an American classic comedy/drama.

Other scheduled shows from September through next August include the musicals, Plaid Tidings and Footloose, as well as A.R. Gurney's romantic comedy Sylvia.

The downtown theatre also has offerings targeted for youth audiences, including the play Stellaluna and Dreamworks Shrek Jr. the Musical.
