Arlington Parks - Recreation's Food Truck Friday Dinner Series

Join Arlington Parks and Recreation for Food Truck Dinners at Stovall Park, 2800 W. Sublett Rd. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Friday between September 15 and October 6. Each week we will feature a new lineup of food trucks for you to try out. This week's lineup is expected to include KB Brats, Chez Flo, What's Cook-N-Chef, Yummy Pizza, Pokey O's and Steel City Pops. In celebration of the Sister Cities of Arlington's 66th anniversary, The German Band of North Texas is set to perform from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

engAGE Arlington's Cookout After Dark

Gather your friends, pack your chair or blanket and get ready for a fun and relaxing evening at the beautiful Richard Greene Linear Park. engAGE Arlington's Cookout After Dark is from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. this Saturday, September 16. The evening will feature live music, electric bike rides, yard games, delectable burgers with a gourmet toppings bar and a scrumptious build-your-own S'mores bar. Arlington Parks - Recreation's Family Day at the Lake

Take a boat ride, shoot a bull's-eye or catch fish at Arlington Parks and Recreation's Family Day at Richard Simpson Park, located at 6300 W. Arkansas Ln. on Lake Arlington. The event will take place this Saturday, September 16 from 9-11 a.m. There will be archery, kayaking, fishing, hotdogs, boat rides and more! The cost to participate is $10 per person and $25 max per family. Registration is required.

Levitt Pavilion Arlington's Fall Concert Series

Live music continues this weekend at the Levitt Pavilion Arlington for the 2017 fall concert series in Downtown! This weekend's lineup includes the Josh Weather Band on Thursday for a special concert celebrating Arlington Gives from the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation. Blue Water Highway takes the stage on Friday, The Rankin Twins perform on Saturday and The Tejas Brothers close the weekend out on Sunday. All concerts begin at 8 p.m. Later in the fall, classic rock band Kansas will headline Levitt Pavilion's annual benefit concert on Sept. 23. Who's Bad: A Tribute to Michael Jackson at Arlington Music Hall

Who's Bad's live performance is a celebration of pop music's one true King. Their power-packed performance of Michael Jackson's expansive catalog has ignited crowds on every continent. T.G. Sheppard at Arlington Music Hall

T.G. Sheppard's 21 number one hits and being ranked among the top 100 country artists of all time has made him one of the most popular live performers on tour today. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

From thrilling slides to relaxing pools, Arlington residents and visitors will be happy to hear that Hurricane Harbor is open on weekends through October 1. The water park in Arlington's Entertainment District will be open Saturday and Sunday, September 16-17, 2017. Hurricane Harbor will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor features 47 acres of water wonderland to enjoy. Spend the day zooming down the adventure slides, or just kick back in the sun and relax with your friends. Six Flags Over Texas

Enjoy a full weekend of fun September 16-17 at Six Flags Over Texas with all your friends and family. Enjoy some delicious summer-time favorites hot off the grill along with American-sized thrills on our roller coasters such as BATMAN The Ride, SUPERMAN: Tower of Power and MR. FREEZE: Reverse Blast. The Joker free-fly coaster is also open at Six Flags. After being lifted straight up a 12-story, 90-degree hill, riders flip head-over-heels up to six times along the weightless journey.
