Arlington Hosts European Aviation

Earlier this week, the City of Arlington hosted a delegation of aviation and aerospace companies from Europe who are interested in expanding their market opportunities in the United States.

Representatives from five German aerospace companies met with Arlington city and community leaders, local economic development staff, as well as Arlington aviation and aerospace companies, including L3 Technologies, Texas Almet, Texstars, Pratt - Whitney and Triumph Aerospace Structures, during their Texas tour on Wednesday.

The European company representatives also learned more about the robust workforce training programs at the University of Texas at Arlington and Tarrant County College, the city's business environment, existing workforce, and amenities that provide for a rich and vibrant quality of life in The American Dream City.

The European Aviation Delegation event was sponsored by the City of Arlington's Office of Economic Development, the Team Texas statewide economic development marketing association, and the European American Investment Council.
