Youth Art Month Returns to Arlington Museum of Art

Each spring, the Arlington Museum of Art collaborates with the Arlington Independent School District to give students the opportunity to display their pieces.

"Youth Art Month is time where schools across the nation come together to display artwork in a show of solidarity for arts education," said Linh Nguyen, AISD Visual Arts Coordinator. "I am continually amazed by the quality of work produced by our student artists."

The event is held in conjunction with National Youth Month and Youth Art Month work on display in Austin at the Capitol Building. The exhibition will run for six weeks.

"We are truly blessed to live in such a vibrant community that not only values the Arts but is a tremendous supporter as well," Nguyen said.

Schedule:

March 8 - 19, 2017: Arlington and Lamar High School Networks

March 23 - April 4, 2017 - Martin and Sam Houston High School Networks

April 7 - 19, 2017 - Juan Seguin and Bowie High School Networks
