Grab your favorite cosplay costume and gather with fellow superhero fans this Saturday for ArlingCon, Arlington's annual comics, anime, and sci-fi convention.

ArlingCon, hosted by the Arlington Public Library and the University of Texas at Arlington, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 15 at UT Arlington's University Center, 300 W. 1^st Street. This free community event, open to all ages, includes workshops and panel discussions as well as a cosplay runway, cosplay contest, vendor and artist hall, exhibits, game room and more. Workshops include cosplay costume and make-up tips, an intro to Steampunk, and writing and publishing advice.
