On Tap's Grand Opening

On Tap will be tapping some of the rarest beers this weekend at the Craft Beer Bar's Grand Opening Extravaganza in Downtown Arlington Texas! On Tap will be celebrating with guests 21 and older this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight. The bar is located at 200 N Mesquite St, Arlington, TX 76011.

Some of the beers featured in the announced tap list include:

"Uncorked"Pottery at Arlington Museum of Art

Local artist Cynthia Brison will walk you through the Picasso inspired decorating of your own piece of pottery. This event is sponsored by Arlington Cultural Tourism Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Please register online at www.arlingtonmuseum.org. $25 includes all supplies and refreshments. UTA EXCEL presents Disney's Moana

A sweeping, CG-animated adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors' unfinished quest. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui, and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds. All Arlington residents and visitors are invited to watch this movie in the Rosebud Auditorium at UTA! There will two viewing opportunities 4pm & 8pm on Friday, January 27, 2017. Spring Shows at UTA Planetarium

UTA Planetarium has announced its spring schedule of shows through May 28, 2017. This lineup includes Phantom of the Universe, a new planetarium show that unveils scientists' efforts to explore Dark Matter. The show focuses on the Large Hadron Collider, the gigantic underground particle detector which is being used to explore the inner workings of the matter. Dark Matter is invisible and we only know of its existence due to its gravitational effect. It is believed that 85 percent of the matter in the universe is Dark Matter. Pablo Picasso: Ceramics Exhibit at Arlington Museum of Art

The Arlington Museum of Art in Downtown proudly announces its winter blockbuster exhibit, Pablo Picasso: Ceramics, featuring more than 40 ceramics by renowned artist Pablo Picasso. The exhibit will be on display from November 12, 2016 through February 12, 2017. An opening reception for exhibit sponsors, museum members, and special guests will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. For more information, visit ArlingtonMuseum.org. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) at Theatre Arlington

All 37 plays in 97 minutes! Three madcap men in tights weave their wicked way through all of Shakespeare's comedies, histories, and tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter. This irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard's plays was London's longest-running comedy. The show opened on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Theatre Arlington in Downtown and runs through January 29, 2017. Performances take place on Thursday at 7:30 pm; Friday & Saturday at 8:00 pm; Sunday at 2:00 pm.
