Free Pet Vaccines and Microchips Available August 18

The nonprofit group Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) is offering a free dog and cat vaccination clinic Friday, August 18 at Arlington Animal Services.

The vaccination services, which are available to the first 50 pets brought to the clinic, are free with the purchase of a $7 city pet license. Microchipping will also be offered for free for pets whose rabies vaccination and city license is current.

The clinic is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon at Arlington Animal Services, located at 1000 S.E. Green Oaks Blvd. No appointment is necessary, but Arlington residents are asked to bring proof of residency.

Cash only for $7 city license purchases.

Dogs should be on a leash and cats in a carrier.
