UPDATE: The Mascot Reveal scheduled for today, April 22, has been cancelled due to last night's rain. The Wings will reschedule for a later date. The team will still hold an open practice this Sunday, April 23 at College Park Center at UT Arlington, located at 600 S. Center St in Downtown.

The Dallas Wings are ready to hit the court for their second season in Arlington: The American Dream City.

To celebrate, the WNBA team is inviting fans out to its Season Tip-off Weekend.

The weekend's events includes a mascot reveal on Saturday, April 22 at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas and an open practice on Sunday, April 23 at the University of Texas at Arlington's College Park Center, 600 S. Center St.

The mascot will be unveiled at Klyde Warren Park's Pavilion and West Lawn during Saturday's event, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and features activities for fans of all ages. The park is located at 2012 Woodall Rodgers Freeway.

On Sunday in Arlington, fans are invited to join the Wings for their first day of training camp. Attendees will have a chance to see players and coaches in action, including newly drafted players and returning veterans. Doors open at noon and practice will be followed by an all-team autograph session for season ticket members.

The Dallas Wings relocated to Arlington last year from Tulsa. The 2017 pre-season kicks off Saturday, April 29 in San Antonio. The 2017 regular season starts May 14.
