A beautiful showcase of Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Hawaiian and Cambodian cultural dance and musical performances will take place. The goal of the event is to raise awareness of available business, community and municipal resources.

' The Chamber is here to act as a bridge between the community, the city and the companies,' said Nguyen, adding that the Chamber is a resource to help residents ' find a solution for the concerns that the community' may have.

More than 30 vendors will set up booths at this year' s event to promote Asian-owned businesses, recruit for job placement, and conduct free healthcare services for Arlington residents.

' For this festival, Colorful World Foundation and many other health professionals come in and prescreen and educate residents so they know about their health and what condition they' re in,' Nguyen said.

Residents in attendance will have access to free flu shots, free diabetes testing, blood pressure check, free dental exams and information related to health and insurance. Nurses will be available to answer any health questions and provide consultation to participants about the next step to take to address any health issues.
