Backstage Arlington: Developing Dreams of Young Musicians

MyArlingtonTV is taking a trip across The American Dream City to showcase some of the diverse musical acts happening in Arlington's schools, restaurants, churches and neighborhoods.

Hosted by Tika Cook, 'Backstage Arlington' highlights some of the different music acts and performing venues that exist in Arlington. The newest episode features the Arlington School of Music, located at 3100 West Arkansas Ln, Arlington, TX 76016.

The school was established back in 2001 and has 13 music teachers, all with either University training or professional performance experience.

The teachers all offer students private instruction in all of the most popular instruments and classes, including singing, guitar, piano, drums, violin and many more.

The City's Office of Communication develops programming for MyArlingtonTV. Viewers can find MyArlingtonTV programs on the following cable systems: Time Warner Channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99, and streaming capabilities at www.arlington-tx.gov.
