"Ask Arlington" is a show dedicated to answering the questions you have about what's happening in our city.

Each week, on the City's social media pages, we'll let you know what the topic of the "Ask Arlington" episode will be. All you have to do is post your question and we'll do our best to get it answered during our show.

This week's show features Darryl Westbrook with the Arlington Water Utilities Department to answer your questions about the City's transition to AMI meters.

AMI stands for Automated Metering Infrastructure. The AMI meters collect usage data electronically daily as opposed to a monthly reading by a city employee.

AMI meters represent a significant improvement over previous metering technology. The meters will allow Arlington Water Utilities and their customers to have better billing and water consumption data.

The City's Office of Communication develops programming for MyArlingtonTV.
