Ask Arlington: Federal Grant Funds for Community Services

"Ask Arlington" is a show dedicated to answering the questions you have about what's happening in our city.

Each week, on the City's social media pages, we'll let you know what the topic of the "Ask Arlington" episode will be. All you have to do is post your question and we'll do our best to get it answered during our show.

This week's show features Grants Coordinator Darwin Wade with the City's Community Development and Planning Department to answer your questions about the City's use of federal grant funds for an array of community services, housing development, and neighborhood improvements.

Grants Management receives and administers federal Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") funds for city development activities, housing programs and homeless services.

There will also be a grants proposal workshop on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 10 a.m. to noon. This workshop held at the Arlington Human Services Center, Room #110, 401 W. Sanford St. Arlington, TX 76011.

The City's Office of Communication develops programming for MyArlingtonTV.
