The University of Texas at Arlington held its Spring 2016 job fair at the Maverick Activities Center on Tuesday, March 1 with more than 1,500 students in attendance.

Potential employers had the opportunity to engage in discussion with underclassmen, graduating seniors, graduate students and alumni seeking full-time, part-time and internship opportunities.

Tasha Velasco, Human Resources Consultant, and Sara Wilhite, Organizational Development Specialist, represented the City at the fair. They were armed with literature providing an overview of the City's employer culture, available jobs and employment benefits.

"This was a great event for the City to highlight to students entering the workforce the ample opportunities available through local government and most specifically, the City of Arlington," said Lisa Zepeda, Human Resources operations manager.
