Arlington, Mansfield Groups Offer Free Summer Meal Options for Kids

Arlington and Mansfield schools and the Arlington Public Library are among organizations providing free, nutritious meals this summer for children under the age of 18.

No paperwork or registration is required at any of the summer meal sites but the meals must be consumed on site.

The Arlington Independent School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Breakfast and lunch will be served at various elementary, junior high and high school sites until August.

Also in Arlington, three public library branches will serve as Food on the Move sites, offering free lunches to children from 12 to 1 p.m. on select days until Aug. 5.

East Arlington Branch

Northeast Branch

1905 Brown Blvd.

Southeast Branch

900 S. E. Green Oaks

Mansfield ISD's summer feeding program, the Seamless Summer Option, began June 8th and will provide free breakfast and lunch featuring protein, fruit and vegetables. The child does not need to attend MISD to participate. Adult meals are available for $3.50.
