5 Family Friendly Things to Do for Valentine’s Day in Arlington

Valentine's Day is often seen as a day to celebrate the love between two individuals, but for families there is more love to go around and more people to celebrate with. Here are 6 kid-friendly things to do in Arlington this Valentine's Day:

1. Sweetheart Swim at Hugh Smith Recreation Center

Round up your clan to enjoy a swim on Valentine's day! Admission will be buy one, get one half-off from 3-5 p.m. Please click here for a list of current pricing. For more information call 817-275-1351.

2. Feel the Love at Arlington Skatium

Skate through Valentine's Day with those you love with buy one, get one free admission from 1-6 p.m. on Valentine's day. Skate rental is an additional charge of $2 to $3 depending on the type of skates.

3. Ice Skating at The Parks at Arlington Mall

From 2-5 p.m. on Valentine's day, it will be $10 for two skate admissions, including skate rental, and $6 for one skate admission and skate rental.

4. Valentine Tots Party at Hugh Smith Recreation Center

There will be music, cookie decorating and storytime on Feb. 13, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Children ages 1-8 are welcome and it will be $6 per child. Parents stay free and can assist with and enjoy the festivities with their children. Call 817-275-1351 for more information or to register.

5. Valentine's Parties at Arlington Flight Deck Trampoline Park

On Feb. 12, 2016, from 10 a.m. to noon, there will be the Toddler Tumblr Valentine's Day party for children 6 and under. There will be crafts available, cookie decorating, and a prize raffle for parents. It is $5/per child and one parent jumps free with each child.

Another weekend festivity will be an event on Valentine's day, that will be open to all ages, from 5-10 p.m. A $20 admission fee will include unlimited jumping, pizza, a drink, and a party yogurt.
