Every year, the Arlington MLK Celebration Committee searches for the very best in original art and literature. Cash prizes and scholarships are awarded to the winning submissions. This year's theme is "The Strength to Love: Tough Minds. Tender Hearts," and is derived from the book,The Strength to Love, published in 1963 by Dr. King.
The MLK student art and essay competitions are sponsored by the Arlington Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee.

Winners will be notified in December and formally recognized in January during the Arlington MLK Four-Day Celebration.
