There is still time to register for the City of Arlington's 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament being held on Friday, October 2, 2015, at the beautiful Tierra Verde Golf Club, 705 Golf Club Drive.

The fundraiser will help the City of Arlington meet this year's goal of raising $40,000 for the American Heart Association for research and programs. The event is open to the public.

How to Participate

The entry fee is $85 per player and includes green fees, cart, range balls, registration bag, opportunity for prizes, dinner (provided by Blue Mesa Grill), free chair massage (provided by Neuropathy & Pain Centers of TX), and live music after the tournament featuring the Silver Rail Band. Registration will begin at noon with a 1:30 p.m. shot gun start. Full details can be found at www.arlingtongolf.com/tierra_verde_tournaments/.

Entry forms and fees will be accepted through Friday, Sep. 18, 2015.

Heart disease is the #1 cause of death each year in this country. The golf tournament is just one of many fundraiser activities led by the City of Arlington and its employees to raise donations for this worthy cause.

Important Sponsors

Last year, the tournament raised $4,500 for the cause. This year, they hope to surpass that amount with the help of sponsors; CMIT Solutions, Town North Shopping Center, Blue Mesa Grill, Air-Ad Promotions and Chicken Express.
