Blue Jays vs. Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington

After taking home their sixth AL West crown last weekend at Globe Life Park in Arlington, the Texas Rangers host the Toronto Blue Jays for Game 3 of the best-of-five American League Division Series this Sunday night, October 11, 2015 at 7:10 p.m. If you can't make it to the game, it will be televised on Fox Sports One. Games 1 and 2 take place on the road in Toronto. First pitch for Game 1 is 2:37 p.m. on Thursday, October 8 and Game 2 kicks off on Friday, October 9 at 11:45 a.m. Games 4 and 5 (if necessary) will take place on Monday, October 12 in Arlington and Wednesday, October 14 in Toronto.

Cowboys vs. Patriots at AT&T Stadium

The Cowboys host Tom Brady and the undefeated New England Patriots this Sunday at AT&T Stadium in The American Dream City. Kickoff for the big game starts at 3:25 p.m. The Cowboys enter Sunday's game tied for 1st place in the NFC East with a 2-2 record on the season and the team hopes to rebound from a heartbreaking loss to the Saints in overtime last weekend. If you can't make it to the game in Arlington, the match-up will be nationally televised on CBS at 3:25 p.m. After Sunday's game against the Patriots, the Cowboys will be off as they enter their bye week in Week 6.

After Dark in the Park Festival

The 19th annual After Dark in the Park is a family-friendly fall festival that features the environmental-education programs of River Legacy Living Science Center. This festival will kick off Friday, October 9, to Sunday, October 11 from 5pm to 9pm each night. This festival will take place at 703 N.W. Green Oaks Blvd. in The American Dream City. This annual festival features family fun that includes karaoke, pumpkin patch, Camping Expo and much more. There is an $8 per person admission fee for ages 3 and up, including adults, and can be purchased at the event entrance.

45th Annual Eunice Craft Fair

There will be a variety of items at the 45th Annual Eunice Craft Fair, hosted by the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department! Items available for sale include baked goods, wall canvas pieces, handmade jewelry, crocheted and knitted items, handmade wooden furniture, gourmet candy, quilts, and wreaths at price points ranging from under $1 to over $100. There is no fee to get in plus we will have hourly door prizes, bounce house, food trucks, and a face painter! This event takes place Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Eunice Activity Center. Admission is free.

Food Truck Fridays: Fall Dinner Series

Looking for the ideal spot for dinner this Friday, October 9? Then head over to S.J. Stovall Park from 5-10 p.m. for Arlington Parks and Recreation Department's Food Truck Friday Nights! Food truck line-ups will be announced Thursday before the event and this is last week of this year's fall dinner series. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets to the food truck events, as seating is limited. Airport Storytime with Arlington Public Library

On Saturday, October 10, 2015, the Arlington Public Library will partner with the Arlington Municipal Airport for the library's Second Saturday Storytime program series. Attendees will enjoy listening to stories and songs about airplanes while gazing out of the airport's glass windows to catch a glimpse of the real thing. Storytime begins at 10:30 a.m., and families are encouraged to stay after and learn how to make their own paper airplanes. Blue Curtain Productions Lamar High School Presents "Waiting in the Wings"

Looking for some laughs this weekend and a chance to support student theatre in Arlington? Then be sure to head over to AISD's Lamar High School as they open a play starting tonight that you don't want to miss! The comedy "Waiting in the Wings" by the great English playwright Noel Coward will be playing in the Lamar High School auditorium Thursday through Saturday (October 8-10). Each performance starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $10 for adults and just $5 for students. Lamar High School is located at 1400 W. Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76012.

Fright Fest Presented by Snickers at Six Flags Over Texas

Four new fright zones and terrifying attractions will be open to fear-seekers in The American Dream City this weekend at Six Flags Over Texas! Fright Fest Presented by Snickers continues each weekend throughout the month of October until November 1, 2015. Once the clock strikes 7 pm, Fright by Night takes total control of the park. The ghastly ghosts, zombies, and supernatural beings come alive to haunt the park's midways in six free Fright Zones. While Fright by Night may be too intense for young children, Thrills by Day offers entertainment and fun the whole family can enjoy. Arlington Museum of Art Presents "Rock and Roll Wall of Fame" Exhibit

Visit the "Rock and Roll Wall of Fame" installation at the Arlington Museum of Art this weekend to experience three exhibits that focus on a socially, culturally, and politically influential publication still in print today, a music hub that helped reshape the canvas of rock and roll in the 1970s, '80s, and '90s, and the talented musicians that Austin, Texas has encouraged and produced over the years.
