Ashley Johnson, senior member for Arlington Martin's cross country team, has been selected as the City of Arlington's Student-Athlete of the Month for November 2015.

Ashley excels on the track and in the classroom, where she carries a 3.87 G.P.A. She says that her favorite subject is science, an area that will help her reach her academic and professional dreams.

One of the top runners in the area, Ashley was named to the District 4-6A All-District girls cross country first team. Her strong times qualified her for the 2015 Texas Cross Country Championships in Austin.

After considering several Division I programs, Ashley has committed to attend the University of Oklahoma. Congratulations to Ashley Johnson for being this month's honoree.
