City of Arlington Releases 6-Month Project Forecast

Project Forecast

If you're looking for contracting opportunities in Arlington, there are a number of projects on the horizon that will improve the economic climate over the next six months.

Some of the projects included in the City's six-month report include millions of dollars in improvements and repairs to Arlington's streets, drainage systems, as well as upgrades to the city's parks and recreation areas.

The Public Works, Water Utilities, and Parks Departments each contract for construction and engineering projects.

Included in the report is a list of upcoming major projects residents can expect to see moving forward from November 2015 to May 2016:

  • 2014 Residential Streets Rebuild (various locations) - $7,700,000 estimated project amount
  • New York Ave. (Abram -Park Row), Phase 1 - $1,900,000 estimated project amount
  • New York Ave. (Park Row -Arkansas), Phase 2 - $4,600,000 estimated project amount
  • Julia Burgen Park - $2,400,000 estimated project amount
  • River Legacy Park Trail - $300,000 estimated project amount
  • Marrow Bone Spring Park - $50,000 estimated project amount
  • Veterans Park - $250,000 estimated project amount
