Arlington ISD Offering Free Meals to Eligible Students this Summer

Thanks to the Summer Food Service Program, low-income students attending Arlington ISD schools will receive nutritious meals while school is not is session.

Meals will be provided to all children, ages 1 through 18, without charge at various schools. Meals are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided weekdays starting June 10 through July 2 at various elementaries. Junior high sites will serve meals June 10 through June 23. High school sites will serve meals June 16 through Aug. 5. Sites serving meals in July will not provide service on July 10, 11 or 12.

No registration of any kind is needed for children to receive the free meals. For more information, call 682-867-7880.
