Some students from Arlington ISD.s ABLE program at Dunn Elementary were able to unwind Tuesday as two adorable pet therapy dogs partnering with Arlington Animal Services Center paid them a visit.

For the fifth consecutive year, students in Amy Yancey.s class hosted Deacon the gentle giant of a golden retriever and the playfully cool Leroy Brown the bulldog.

During the sessions, kids and their four-legged friends played games used pet therapy as a way to improve communication and social skills.

Arlington.s Pet Therapy program has worked with Respect A Bull, Inc. and volunteer Tom Waits each year to bring therapy dogs to AISD classrooms.
