The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced they will be conducting damage assessments of homes in the City of Arlington affected by the severe weather and flooding in May. The damage assessment team will consist of representatives from the Arlington Fire Department's Office of Emergency Management, Tarrant County, the State of Texas and FEMA. Residents do not have to be present.

If you are an Arlington resident and have not notified the City of Arlington or FEMA of uninsured damage related to the storms in May and June, please contact the Arlington Fire Department's Office of Emergency Management at 817-459-6939 or [email protected].

Additionally, residents are highly encouraged to register directly with FEMA. For more information about the disaster declaration and registering with FEMA, please go to http://www.fema.gov/disaster/4223.
