 After Hard-Fought Victory

The Dallas Cowboys are one step closer to playing in Super Bowl 49 after a thrilling come-from-behind victory at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

After trailing for most of the game, the Cowboys rallied for a 24-20 wild-card win over Detroit on Sunday for the team's first playoff victory since 2009.

Tony Romo, who was 19-of-31 for 293 yards on the afternoon, threw two touchdowns to Terrance Williams. The second touchdown was late in the fourth quarter and gave the Cowboys their only lead of the game.

A lackluster first half didn't cause the team to panic, it only strengthened the team's resolve. The Cowboys controlled the game in key spots, which lead to a hard-fought victory against the Lions.

Now the Cowboys (13-4) head to Green Bay (12-4) to face Aaron Rodgers the well-rested Packers in next Sunday's NFC divisional matchup. Dallas has opened as a road underdog, yet the Cowboys are a perfect 8-0 on the road. Sunday's forecast is calling for a high temperature of 14 degrees.

If both the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers win this weekend, Arlington would host the NFC Conference Championship game on Jan. 18.
