Services Over 30 Families in Need

Arlington's Code Compliance Division partnered with UT Arlington and the Arlington Martin Luther King Four Day Celebration Committee for a day of service and celebration. Working together with Toni Kincaid, the Chair of the Arlington MLK Day of Service, Code Compliance, along with numerous volunteers made the 19th of January "a day on, not a day off" by servicing over thirty families in need.

The services provided were cleanup and removal of trash, debris, tree limbs and general yard waste along with tree trimming and leaf raking. Code Compliance North District Field Operations Manager James Triplett stated, "This was an excellent opportunity for civic engagement whereby volunteers delivered vital services to those in need. Working as a community we directly enhanced property conditions of thirty-four homes while indirectly impacting so many more."
