This past Saturday, January 31, the first-ever College Gridiron Showcase took place at UTA's Maverick Stadium in The American Dream City.
College athletes from all around the country came together to show scouts from the NFL, CFL and AFL what they can do on the field, hoping to one day achieve their dreams of becoming professional football players.
It was a rainy Saturday, but that didn't stop players and coaches from giving their all in a game that quickly turned into a defensive struggle.
The Wranglers went on to beat the Desperados 10-7, with TCU wide receiver David Porter catching the game-winning touchdown pass.
