American Dream Story: Lorie Lisius

Lorie Lisius is the Senior General Manager at The Parks Mall at Arlington.

She shared with us how she's living her American Dream in the City of Arlington, TX:

Arlington is more than just my place of work. It's my home.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and have remained here since.

I met and married my husband here (also a UTA grad). We chose to raise our family in Arlington because it provides the best of both worlds: a beautiful quaint city where neighbors know their neighbor, and the opportunities and amenities of a big city.

Aside from great shopping venues like The Parks at Arlington, Arlington has great schools, great parks, great entertainment venues, great cultural events and most of all - great people.

Whether in my role as senior general manager of The Parks at Arlington or just running errands on the weekends, I always see someone I know.

There's always a friendly wave, a smile, or greeting when you're in Arlington. It's that warm feeling of community that makes it special!
