Water Valve Repair to Impact Some Residents

On Friday, Oct. 24, City of Arlington's Water Utilities crews will be repairing a 16-inch valve on a water main, which will leave some residents in South Arlington without water from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Here is a list of the affected streets:

  • 2600-3100 block of W. Sublett Road
  • Wind Drift Trail
  • Dover Gardens Drive
  • Sterling Green Trail
  • Autumn Wheat Trail
  • Terra Drive
  • Royal Circle
  • Downing Court
  • Princess Anne
  • Coach Lane
  • Queen Elizabeth
  • Hampton Dr
  • Prince of Wales
  • Victoria Station
  • Royal Coach Lane
  • Prince Edward

Crews will work to get things repaired and the water back on as quickly as possible. Water Utilities only shuts off the water when it is necessary, and this is a big valve! Watch for updates as we get them on Facebook and on their new Arlington Water Alerts Twitter Feed at http://twitter.com/awu_alerts.

Also, this repair is impacting traffic in the area. Click here to learn about lane closures.
