UTA Homecoming

It's 2014 Homecoming Week for UT Arlington, with several activities going on the rest of the week to celebrate.

Tuesday morning, students took part in an apartment and residence hall decorating contest, giving students the opportunity to decorate their community and compete for the most spirited home on campus.

The men's basketball home opener is Tuesday night at College Park Center, with tip-off at 7 p.m. against Buffalo.

You can find a complete rundown of events here on the school's 2014 Homecoming page.

On Saturday, a parade and pep rally gets underway at 5:45 p.m. at Moritz Plaza. The parade features floats, marching bands, special guests, and decorated golf carts.

Homecoming Week culminates with the Mavericks taking on Houston Baptist Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. The men's basketball game will also feature the coronation of Homecoming King and Queen during halftime.

Immediately following the game, there will be a fireworks display at College Park Center.
