High Speed Rail

High speed rail could be coming to North Texas, which would give Arlington residents another way to travel the DFW Metroplex.

Now you have a chance to learn more about a study conducted by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) regarding a proposed high-speed passenger rail service between Fort Worth and Dallas. The project will consider potential track alignments, station locations, and more.

A public scoping meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, to provide North Texans more information about the project. Attendees are encouraged to share any topics of interest that should be considered in the project's Environmental Impact Statement.
