Mayor’s Holiday Party for Children

Celebrate the holiday season with stories, music and fun at the Mayor's Holiday Party for Children.

Mayor Robert Cluck invites the children of Arlington to join him at the George W. Hawkes Central Library as he reads a special holiday book and hosts entertainment and activities especially for children.

CATS (Creative Theater & School) presents Caleidoscope, a troupe of five girls, to perform a Christmas Musical Revue. Symphony Arlington joins the fun with music of the season and an educational introduction to the orchestra. The Mayor will read a story and provide holiday treats.

Other performances include an appearance by Read the Bookworm library mascot, storytelling, and holiday cookies will create a memorable experience for children and their families. This event has become a holiday tradition for many Arlington families. Admission is free.
