Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

Thanksgiving not only means great food, but also the tradition of Cowboys football. This year's game finds the Dallas Cowboys (8-3) squaring off against the Philadelphia Eagles (8-3). The winner will have sole possession of 1st place in the NFC East. The game starts at 3:30 p.m. at AT&T Stadium and will be televised on FOX. Resale tickets are available online. There are also limited tickets available by the venue.

5th Annual USMD Arlington Turkey Trot

You can race, run, jog, walk, stroll, roll, or even crawl at the 5th Annual USMD Arlington Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. Free Parking will once again be at the Arlington Convention Center and Texas Rangers Lot J. Registration and the Start & Finish race site will be on Road to Six Flags along the entire north side of Globe Life Park. Net proceeds from the USMD Arlington Turkey Trot will go to support The Shoe Bank, a Metroplex based non-profit organization. Entry fees vary based on when you register. The “Puffin' for Stuffin' 1- Mile" starts at 8 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk kicks off at 8:30 a.m.

Texas Christkindl Market

The Texas Christkindl Market returns to Arlington for its fourth year and is open for people to visit between November 28 and December 21. For 30 days, Road to Six Flags on the north side of Globe Life Park in Arlington transforms into a European holiday village, featuring a variety of authentic German holiday products, food, music, live entertainment and family activities. Opening Day: Friday, November 28 (5:00 - 9:00 p.m.)

Holiday in the Park

Another holiday season tradition in Arlington, “Holiday in the Park" at Six Flags Over Texas magically transforms the park into a Winter Wonderland. Throughout the park, guests will be entertained by carolers and infused by the smell of holiday food options. Children can also meet Santa to tell him their wishes for the holiday season. Park hours and ticket information are available on the Six Flags Over Texas website. Runs from November 28 - December 30.

Texas Tech vs. Baylor

Thursday isn't the only football action you can check out this holiday weekend at AT&T Stadium. Big 12 rivals Texas Tech and Baylor also square off on Saturday, November 29 at 2:30 p.m. in the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Shootout. Tickets are still available. Baylor, 9-1 on the season, comes into the game fighting for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
