 Texas Christkindl Market

Are you ready to catch some of the great entertainment at the Texas Christkindl Market in Arlington?

For 30 days, Road to Six Flags on the north side of Globe Life Park in Arlington transforms into a European holiday village, featuring a variety of authentic German holiday products, food, music, live entertainment and family activities.

If you enjoy live entertainment, don't miss performances on the main stage by Grammy Award-winning band Brave Combo (Nov. 29), Daryl Dodd (Dec. 13) and Tejas Brothers (Dec. 20). Continue to visit texaschristkindl.com for an updated list of entertainers.

Kids have a chance to catch the holiday spirit by participating in one of three Chinese lantern parades through the Christkindl Market (click on the day of your choice to register):

Children will receive an authentic, crafted lantern, holder and battery operated light. During the parade, children will sing Christmas carols and will receive unique gifts from vendors. Expert puppetry will be on display when the new outdoor marionette theater opens. Holly Jolly Christmas, a 40-minute show that features traditional holiday characters: an ice-skating penguin, acrobatic elves, a dancing snowman, a candy cane juggling teddy bear, and much more. Visitors will also find a custom-built Santa Haus, German gifts and crafts, plus a large array of authentic German cuisine, from bratwurst to beer to traditional hot-spiced wine, Gluhwein.
