In the more than 100-year history of the Arlington Police Department, eight Arlington officers have made the ultimate sacrifice. In recognition for the officers who died in the line of duty, each year the community comes together along with police employees and family to honor these officers and their heroic service to the City of Arlington.

As part of 2014 National Police Week, the Arlington Police Department will host a ceremony Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at 6 p.m. at Heroes Park (2100 W. Green Oaks Boulevard). The ceremony is open to the public and will include a moment of silence for our heroes, presentation of colors, and a 21-gun salute. In case of rain, the West Police Service Center (2060 W. Green Oaks Boulevard) is an alternate location for the ceremony. Click here to view the memorial page.
