Business leaders, residents, students and families all seek an environment that is rich with opportunities and has a culture of achievement. A successful community requires a variety of support systems and resources that enables the educational system to flourish.

In an effort to be more integrated in the learning and educational opportunities in our community, the City of Arlington has adopted "Support Quality Education" as a Council priority in 2014.

This new focus is designed to strengthen the City';s commitment to quality public, private and higher education that will attract new residents and businesses to Arlington, and prepare a foundation for our future. The synergy between educational institutions, the City, the private sector and the community can help ensure success and achievement for all students.

City staff will report on activities associated with the Support Quality Education priority on a quarterly basis. Follow the link below to read the latest summary presented to City Council.
