"Moon" is our chosen Dog of the Week at Arlington Animal Services. Moon is a young male American Blue Heeler/Hound Mix who is approximately two years old. This young boy is a medium sized dog who weighs approximately 39 pounds and is full of energy and fun! Moon loves to play fetch and run. He might even be a great frisbee dog since he loves to chase toys and catch them in the air. Volunteers believe this dog would do best in a home without other dogs since he enjoys being "top dog". Moon loves to play, enjoys being petted and he walks well on a leash. He would do best in an active family who enjoys taking walks, jogging or just being outdoors. Although Moon has loads of energy, he is very smart, knows how to sit and takes treats very gently. He also is extremely toy motivated for training and would do great with a family who would like to take his training further than just a basic sit, down or stay. Moon is located in Dog Adoption 11, ID number A22180876. He is available for adoption and ready to go home to his "fur-ever" family. Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, neuter, a micro-chip and 30 days free pet insurance.
