Power Up Arlington Benefits Community

The City of Arlington and Everything Energy announce Power Up Arlington, a green electricity plan that gives residents a way to give back to the community.

The City and company have a two-year agreement to offer a green electricity plan that also provides additional revenue for City services. Arlington residents still have the ability to choose their electricity provider, the agreement simply provides another option which provides benefits to the City.

"This agreement brings together two organizations committed to giving residents the best when it comes to their electricity service and to enhancing the quality of life in this community," said Mark Parsons, vice president of Everything Energy. "Residents will start to see Everything Energy more around town, not only as an electricity provider, but as a sponsor of events that matter to people here."

The City will benefit for each new Everything Energy residential and commercial customer who enrolls using a promotional code (WA152R). To learn more, visit the Power Up Arlington website.

"The City continues to look for innovative ways to raise revenue to serve our residents," said Nora Coronado, Project Coordinator with the City of Arlington. "We are looking forward to working with Everything Energy, knowing that by providing green energy options to our residents, we will be helping our community."

Everything Energy is building a series of new relationships in Arlington, including recently signing on as a title sponsor for the summer and fall free concert series at the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts. The 50 shows are expected to attract more than 123,000 people this year.
