George Strait’s Final Concert

George Strait's final show in Arlington was big...really big.

More than 105,000 people - a North American indoor concert record - packed AT&T Stadium Saturday night to say goodbye to the King of Country, who dazzled the crowd with a series of duets with some of the biggest names in country music.

Fans were treated to 40 songs, and guest appearances from Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert and many others. In total the 62-year-old legend played 20 of his No. 1 hits, plus covers of songs by Johnny Cash.

Saturday night's show brought an end to nearly 40 years on the road for Strait, which started in 1975 with the Ace in the Hole Band. He'll no longer tour regularly, although he hasn't ruled out playing selected dates each year.
